Privacy Policy for CalendarLunar

This Privacy Policy explains how CalendarLunar (package name: com.lunarcalendar.minhtuan) handles information when you use the Android application. CalendarLunar is an offline lunar and Gregorian calendar app for viewing dates, creating events, adding notes, setting reminders, exporting Markdown plans, and sharing content selected by you. The effective date of this policy is August 11, 2026.

CalendarLunar does not require Internet permission and does not collect personal information through a server. The app does not collect GPS location, contacts, camera or microphone data, SMS, system calendar data, or financial information. Information you enter into an event or note may include a title, time, note content, and a location written manually by you. The location field is text only; the app does not access your device location.

Events, date notes, titles, times, note content, and manually entered place text are stored in the app's local database on your Android device, such as Room or SQLite. This information remains on your device unless you choose to export or share it, or Android handles it through system backup settings.

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: used only to display reminders for schedules and events, where permitted by Android and your device settings.
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: used only to schedule reminders at the exact time selected for a schedule or event.
• FileProvider: used to safely share files or Markdown content that you choose to export or share.

Information entered by you is used only to provide CalendarLunar's calendar, note, event, reminder, export, and sharing features. Notifications and exact alarms are used only for calendar and event reminders. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.

CalendarLunar does not sell personal data or share it with third parties. You control any export or sharing of Markdown files and selected content through Android and other apps you choose. The support feature may open an external email app; CalendarLunar only launches the email intent and does not send information to our own server. Data may also be disclosed when required by applicable law.

Your local data is retained on your device until you delete individual events or notes inside the app, clear the app's data, or uninstall CalendarLunar. Android system backup may process local app data if you have enabled device backup; that behavior is controlled by your Android and Google settings.

CalendarLunar keeps app data in local device storage and does not operate a private backend for this information. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and reviewing Android backup, sharing, and app-permission settings.

CalendarLunar does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app does not require Internet access or operate a data-collection backend, information entered into the app remains local to the device unless a user chooses to share or back it up through Android.

CalendarLunar does not use analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or other third-party data-collection services based on the information provided for this policy. Android system features, including notifications, alarms, backup, file sharing, and the external email app, operate according to their own platform or provider policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app's features, permissions, or legal requirements change. Any updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. You should review this page periodically.
